Synopsis

Based on an incredible true story of the Battle of Saragarhi in which an army of 21 Sikhs fought against 10,000 Afghans in 1897. Havildar Ishar SIngh plays a key role in the 1897 Battle of Saragarhi, in which an army of 21 Sikhs fought against a legion of 10,000 Afghans in what is considered as one of the greatest last-stands in military history. The story is about how the 21 men come together as a team to achieve what the world thought of as an impossible feat. Kesari is a movie about the bravest battle ever fought “The Battle Of Saraghari” between 21 Sikhs and 10000 Afgani in the year 1897. The pumping andrenaline, patrotic sentiment and powerful performance by Akshay Kumar will make you excited but the movie’s pace is slow till the interval and everything is so predictable.What you like are the locations,creation of that period,costumes,screenplay and few war scenes.Akshay Kumar as Ishwar Singh is the soul and whole of this film who has done par justice to his role but you have seen this before.
